What better way to cap off a gorgeous day in Chicago than with Turkey and Chorizo Burgers? I modified my normal turkey burger recipe to add half a tube (4 oz) of pork chorizo to ground turkey. The other alteration was half a diced jalapeño.
Turkey burgers can often be dry no matter how you prep them. Adding chorizo adds both flavor and fatty moistness.
We toasted ciabatta rolls and topped our burgers with homemade guacamole.
